Pathways courses for carers

Check out the Learn Local Organisations near you to see if there is a Learn Local/ACFE funded program that you’d like to enrol in. The Linking Carers project will pay fees for carers to undertake up to two courses of their choice that will assist them with their pathways to further training or employment.

Please note that only the courses with this funding symbol are eligible. The project funding does not extend to recreation and leisure courses.

Community Teaching with Adults

The course will cover adult learning in a digital age by introducing you to how to design and deliver courses in an online or face to face environment. We will also look at developing appropriate PowerPoint presentations to compliment your teaching outcomes. Employment opportunities currently exist for teachers in your local neighbourhood house. No previous teaching experience required.

Cyber Safety Basics

Are you feeling nervous about being online? Have you been the target of an online scam or fraud? Do you know how to identify and respond to an online threat? There are many steps individuals can take to enhance their cyber security without requiring a significant investment or the help of an IT professional.
